Kinesiotaping Certification Workshops

The Kinesiotaping® method (KTM) was developed nearly 40 years ago by Dr Kenzo Kase, the founder and inventor of the Kinesio Tex tape and Kinesio Taping® method.                             

Kinesiotaping®  Basic, Advanced and Specialty workshops are certified by the Kinesiotaping Association International (KTAI-USA) and are recognised globally. 

Kinesiotaping®  instructors are certified by the Kinesiotaping Association International and regularly undergo training and examinations to keep up to date with the latest updates in Kinesio Taping®  methods, under close scrutiny of Dr Kenzo Kase.

Courses :- 
We offer Kinesiotaping Fundamentals (KT 1 & KT2), Advanced (KT3) and Specialty (KT4) certification workshops.
Both Online and Onsite workshops are approved by the Kinesiotaping Association and are conducted as per the guidelines provided by the KTAI – USA. 

Becoming a certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner ( CKTP ) 
The letters CKTP stand for Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. The  CKTP status demonstrates the commitment to highest standards of patient care . ‘’CKTP” after a name ensure confidence that the practitioner has undergone the necessary training to integrate Kinesio Taping into their practice.

Requirements to become a CKTP:

  • Have an account on KinesioTaping.com.
  • Complete Kinesio Taping Assessments, Fundamental Concepts and Techniques and Advanced Techniques and Clinical Reasoning Approved Seminars.
  • Pass online CKTP Exam with 80% or higher.
  • Maintain KTAI annual membership

Kinesiotaping® Foundations course – 2 days

( Earlier known as KT 1,2,3 –  Assessments , fundamentals and advanced concepts) 

The Kinesio Taping Foundations Course will present all the concepts and techniques of Kinesio Taping in an expedited course format. 

The first day will present an overview of the development of the Kinesio Taping Method, Fundamental concepts, assessments and screening tests, and begin to introduce Kinesio Correction taping techniques. After completing fundamental concepts, the course will move into advanced techniques and clinical reasoning. 

Complex clinical cases and  choice of  application with different corrective techniques  will be discussed. Ample supervised  taping  applications along with assessments  to the entire body  will be done. Participant will be able to appear for the online CKTP exam immediately after the course.

KT4 (Orthosports specialty) – 1 day

The KT4 Sports/Orthopedic course is focused on sports conditions. Various aspects of tissue healing , timeline of healing and integration of Kinesiotaping applications during each stage of healing is discussed in depth. 

During the KT4 Sports/Orthopedic course, attendees will practice their skills on a variety of applications correlated with specific clinical sports conditions. 

This course is also designed to  give attendees the chance to learn and practice specific applications related to specific sports dysfunctions  including  Motor dysfunction, Repetitive stress injuries  and more, acute to chronic management of a clinical scenario, local and global issues and dysfunction.

Sujata Khire

Sujata Khire is a physiotherapist, Founder and Director of Academy of Advanced Physio Skills. She received her Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy in 2002, from the Sancheti Institute for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Pune, India and thereafter Masters in Cardio pulmonary rehabilitation in 2007. Her special interest and wide exposure to musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation encouraged her to pursue her training as an instructor in Kinesio taping and Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates.
