Sujata Khire

Lead Instructor, Founder and Director of AAPS

Sujata Khire is a physiotherapist, Founder and Director of Academy of Advanced Physio Skills. She received her Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy in 2002, from the Sancheti Institute for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Pune, India and thereafter Masters in Cardio pulmonary rehabilitation in 2007. Her special interest and wide exposure to musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation encouraged her to pursue her training as an instructor in Kinesio taping and Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates.
Sujata is a certified Instructor from KTAI, USA since 2014, conducting KTAI accredited, basic, advanced and super specialty ( kt1,2,3,4 ) certification workshops in India and Middle east.

She is an International Dry needling Instructor, having undergone dry needling training from ODNS and The Dry Needling Institute, South Africa. She has been teaching Basic and Advanced level dry needling workshops in the Middle east and India since 2014 and is now the chief dry needling instructor for AAPS.

In 2018, she certified as a Mat work Pilates Instructor and thereafter as a Presenter from the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates institute ( APPI ) for the UAE region.

She has conducted over 75 workshops, several webinars and trained several hundred professionals from the middle east, USA, Europe, South East Asia and India.
She also certified as a Yoga instructor from the Yoga Institute, India bringing the benefits of therapeutic yoga in her clinical practice.

Sujata has been a speaker at various national and international conferences and actively involved in community outreach programs, to spread the awareness of the scope and benefits of physiotherapy treatment amongst the community and healthcare professionals.

James Schomburgk:

James Schomburgk is the Director of Back in Motion Campbelltown, Valley View and Mt Barker in South Australia.

He is an Expert Advisor to AHPRA, and has been the National President of MPA (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia). He was a lecturer and clinical supervisor at the School of Physiotherapy for 11 years at the University of SA and currently attached with the University of Adelaide, Australia.

Tanuja Akre Mankar:

Tanuja Akre Mankar comes with more than 16 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She has completed her masters in Sports orthopedics and Manipulative Physiotherapy from Australia and has worked with elite sporting organizations like AFL (Australian Rules football) and Soccer teams in Australia.

She has been the Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for the past couple of years and currently settled back in clinical practice in Australia.

Karl Meiring:

Karl Meiring is a qualified physiotherapist from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 2013. He completed sports physiotherapy certification with the South African Society of Physiotherapy in 2016.

He has been practicing as a physiotherapist for 7 years working in a variety of musculoskeletal private practices.

Currently he is working at Back in Motion, Valley View in South Australia and is a clinical educator at the University of Adelaide. Karl is an endurance athlete himself, a passionate surfer and runner.
